Microneedling

Micro needling is a skin regeneration treatment which stimulates the skin’s own wound healing response after a controlled injury involving the creation of multiple microscopic micro-channels .

This wound healing response induces the skin’s fibroblasts to produce new elastin and collagen resulting in smoother , more even skin so treating fine lines and wrinkles, excess and uneven pigmentation , acne scars and stretch marks amongst other concerns.

At Aliya Aesthetics, I have a Medical Dermapen which is an exceptional pen device which uses 15 ultrafine needles at varying depths and speeds to create a bespoke programme for treating your skin which target your individual skincare concerns. For example; acne scars and stretch marks must be treated to a different depth than fine lines and pigmentation.

The skin is different on different parts of the face and body which determines the depth of treatment necessary.

The dermapen can be used around the eye due to its small head size as can an alternative microneedling device, the unique WOW fusion device. This exceptional system uses 20 ultrafine tapered, surgical steel needles and allows a hyper-personalised serum to be delivered directly into the tissues, improving skin quality at cellular level. Treatment involves minimal downtime and local anaesthetic is applied to the skin to allow both systems to be virtually pain-free.
